Beach City Prospects
Beach City Baseball Academy will provide each player with a camp experience that is safe, challenging, fun and educational. We accept players at all levels—beginning level to all-star—from 6 to 12 years old. Our camps are typically held throughout the summer and during winter break. Campers are invited to choose and attend as many camp sessions as they like, and many will be enrolled in both sessions. These camps will help prepare players for the next level by providing them with professional instruction on the fundamentals of the game along with the mechanics of playing specific positions. Campers will work on their hitting, improve their pitching and learn how to steal and hold runners on base. In addition, they’ll participate in agility and strength conditioning.

The Day’s Routine

Camps Days RoutineIncludes a daily exercise and agility training routine followed by instructive drills relating to base running, pitching, defense, bunting, outfield play, infield play, batting practice and other hitting drills. There will also be many team-building skill exercises. Upon completion of the morning routine, and after a break for lunch, we will have fun, live, instructional games with many at bats for everyone. The campers will all get a chance to play different positions, and they’ll be divided up as evenly as possible each week to ensure close, exciting matches. Parents are welcome to stop by and watch the daily activities at any time during the day.

Campers need to be dressed in appropriate baseball attire with pants, cap and cleats. If possible, they should also bring along appropriate equipment, including glove, batting helmet and bat. (Some spare helmets and bats will be available.) We’ll provide the sunscreen and a snack; however, campers must bring their own lunch, preferably in a bag with the camper’s name on it. Coolers will be provided for safe storage.
